Dr. Hyman earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree with highest honors at Life University in Marietta, Georgia in 2000 following her Bachelor of Science degree from Tulane University, New Orleans, Louisiana.
Allison practiced in London, England for 20 years, both in her own clinic and with other practitioners, accumulating experience and competencies within the chiropractic profession. Her life’s journey has brought her back to her homeland to now serve the Greater Seattle community.
Dr. Hyman is committed to patients of all ages with special expertise in treating children and pregnant women along with postural rehabilitation, neck pain, back pain, headaches/migraines, hip/pelvis pain, sacroiliac pain, PGP/SPD, women’s health, and other musculoskeletal conditions. She gives intelligent, practical advice on lifestyle, exercise, nutrition and wellbeing.
Allison is skilled in Diversified, Thompson, Activator, Gonstead, Toggle, SOT and light-contact gentle adjusting methods with soft tissue work and trigger point therapy to improve the structural integrity of the spine and functioning of the nervous system.
Allison is certified in the Webster Technique which helps create sacral/pelvic balance and stability, reduce tension in ligaments and soft tissue and restore the neuro-biomechanics of the pelvis to facilitate optimal positioning of the baby.
